Description
"Papercut" is a song by the Nu metal band Linkin Park. It is the first track from their 2000 debut album Hybrid Theory. The video has the band in a haunted house. They are playing in a dimly lit room with an unnerving picture behind the band. To the band's left of the room is a dark kitchen with a bound and writhing figure. To the right is what appears to be a laboratory with a strange creature. It moves extremely fast and erratic like the creatures in House on Haunted Hill. Later in the song, the creature releases insects, probably Dragonflys, while the creepy picture and the left wall bulge. Rob Bourdon's eyes were affected, also there is a statue which moves it's head. The music video was co-directed by Nathan "Karma" Cox and LP's turntablist Joseph Hahn (which have also directed the ones for "Points of Authority" and "In The End"). It was not released for the US.

Description
On this record the song's female character, played by the Dolls, seductively confronts a man. She then proceeds to tease him about wanting her, and not his own girlfriend, singing: "Don't cha wish your girlfriend was hot like me?" The man, played in the radio edit version by Busta Rhymes, admits his lust for her and suggests that they have an affair. At this point, she backs down from her teasing and refuses the offer "Fight the feeling (fight the feeling), leave it alone, 'cause if it ain't love it just ain't enough to leave a happy home."

Linkin park - One step closer

Description
The original title for the song was "Plaster". The band say they created "One Step Closer" while struggling on "Runaway", the sixth track from Hybrid Theory. The single was released in 2001, achieving notable success in Australia, but moderate success in the UK and U.S.

There is a remix of "One Step Closer" on LP's remix album Reanimation (2002), titled "1Stp Klosr", done by The Humble Brothers and Korn's lead singer, Jonathan Davis. This remix was preceeded by its "demo version" of the remix (included as an easter egg on Linkin Park's DVD, Frat Party at the Pankake Festival) and a radio edit version of that demo. Furthermore, Collision Course (2004) features a mash-up of the original song with "Points Of Authority" and Jay-Z's "99 Problems".
